2008
Spent New Year's Eve and New Year Day in New Orleans. Got to watch Warriors get blasted by the Bulldogs. It was not easy to watch. The one positive out of the experience was to be in the Superdome thousands of miles away from home gathered together with thousands of devoted fans like me who made the trek to support the team.
People will go to great lengths and sacrifice a great deal just to witness greatness-- the chance to be a part of history. Of course, this time Goliath kicked David's butt.
Then coming home, June Jones the head coach quits and decides to go to Dallas.
But just this morning Greg McMackin at a press conference announced he will be the next football coach. So things are looking up.
But anyway, this is not supposed to be a football blog...
I got a fax last week from Dr. Ben Altadonna. He sells information and products to chiropractors to help them better market their practices. In the fax letter, he wrote something very interesting:
Our profession is a challenging one and I truly believe that in 2008, we will have 2 types of D.C.'s...
What I call the "accurate" thinkers versus the "inaccurate" thinkers.
The "inaccurate" thinkers will continue to fight one another on technique and philosophy or will waste time worrying about how other practices (are doing) or ching on to how it "used to be" or how easy and fun things "once were."
The "accurate" thinkers will continue to think of 2008 as a new opportunity to revisit how things have been done to achieve the desired outcome or result... and be willing to make an immediate change.
What do you think? Agree?
