What Do You Believe?
If you believe everything, anything that anybody tells you, people will take advantage of your gullibility and the lies that you believe will eventually crush and destroy your faith in others.
If you believe in nothing -- if you refuse to believe anything that cannot be seen, touched, or backed up with hard evidence, your life shall be void of faith and your inclination for courageous good works diminished.
Beleving in everything, believing in nothing are both losing propostions. There are things (principles, people, doctrines) out there worth believing in. And as we develop faith and sacrifice our time, talents, and resources for our faith, we grow. We learn. We find happiness.
I believe there is no other way. So I believe in some things. Not everything. Nor nothing.
