A Headache is Never Caused by...

a lack of aspirin in the body.
However, killer headaches can often times be triggered when we neglect to drink enough water.
I tell my patients to try to drink half their body weight in ounces on a daily basis. So a guy weighing 180 pounds should tank down 90 ounces of water (soda, juice, etc. do not count). Seems like a lot, but if you sip a little here and there throughout the day it's totally doable.
And on a side note, high blood pressure is never caused by a shortage of beta blockers in the blood.
